Above The Noise
Carrie is currently writing her first book, Above The Noise (Motivational Press, Early 2016).
Targeting entrepreneurs, authors, small business owners and entry- to mid-level marketing professionals, the book details how to build an online digital PR strategy based on clarity of messaging, positioning and target audience – then use that clarity to create trust, value and reputation so a company, product or service can RISE ABOVE THE NOISE.
Not just another book touting strategy before activity, it walks the reader through a detailed process for how to actually create that strategy and launch relevant, ORGANIC tactics to build visibility online through a combination of public relations, content marketing, search engine optimization and social media. Because it focuses on digital public relations – essentially unpaid marketing – paid media tactics such as advertising and sponsored social activity are not discussed.
Above The Noise will be an interesting hybrid of a print (and digital) book connected to an online social forum for readers to help and support each other, and free resources to help readers put the book tactics in motion for themselves.
Thanks to my publisher, Motivational Press, it’s expected to be on bookstore shelves this coming winter!!
